If user wants to upgrade VoIP devices through 2MB rom file
including Application Rom, Boot Rom, and others from older version.  

please follow the steps below, or it may cause some problems.
Please notice that!!


1. The configurations of the device may be back to default parameter, please memo it before you start upgrading.

2. connect your device via TELNET and key in the command
 
 [rom -boot2m -s "TFTP/FTP server IP address" -f "file name"]

For example, [rom -boot2m -s 61.1.1.1 -f fxo.100] 

,of course you have to make sure your TFTP server works 
well.


3. For FXO device, wellgate 3806 and 3804, the IP Address and MAC address will be keeped as usual.
   However, the other FXS devices such as Wellgate 3502, 3502A and 3504A, 
   all the configurations will back to default parameter, including IP Address and MAC address.
   For the remote access purpose, after the download is finished please re-configure IP Address and MAC address immediately. 

4. command [setmac]

	(mac address label is stamped individually on the panel)
	key in mac address with format:    00
               		                   01
                               		   a8
                               		   00
                       		           0x
                               		   xx
    
      (It means to press enter each time after key in two chatacters.)

5. command [ifaddr -ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -mask xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -gate xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
   For example. [ifaddr -ip 192.168.1.1 -mask 255.255.255.0 -gate 192.168.1.254]

6. Finally, "commit" then, "reboot" the device.

7. Remote access the device again and re-configure other settings of the device.
